Welcome to the Atlantic coast of Portugal where the sun shines longer, the waves roll in rhythm with your heartbeat, and the air smells like salt and eucalyptus. On October 10-16, we’re inviting you to join a one-of-a-kind 7 day / 6 night 7 all-in retreat in the vibrant Lourinhã area, just a stone’s throw from the legendary Peniche surf breaks and our favorite local spots.

This isn’t just a surf camp, it’s a celebration of community, sea, and soul. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced surfer, used to the chill Baltic Sea or just love the cool courage it takes to paddle out – this retreat is sure for you! We’ve created this experience for the Nordic-Baltic hearts who know the joy of riding waves, laughing hard, and warming up over a sunset meal with new friends.

Expect fun surf days, cozy mornings, and evenings filled with local Portuguese flavors. The October sea here is kind – no mittens, no boots, just you and the board. Temperatures hover between 15–25°C, perfect for both saltwater adventures and sunny siestas.

Duration: 7 days / 6 nights of accommodation in a private villa

Meals:

  • 4 days surf lessons according to your surf level at the ocean

RESERVATION OR CANCELLATION

An initial deposit of 50% is necessary to secure your reservation.

If you decide to cancel before July 1st, you will receive a full refund. However, cancellations made after July 1st will not be eligible for any reimbursement.

TRAVELLING TO THE FAR END SURF HOUSE

 

The Far End Surf House is located only only 63 km or a 50 minutes drive away from Lisbon Airport.

BY CAR

Bring your own or rent a car in Portugal. It is the most convenient way to get around here.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT 

Free pickup anytime from the main bus station in Lourinhã.

There are two bus companies that provide several bus rides every day from Lisbon City to Lourinhã.

Rede-Expressos has journeys each way from Lisbon’s Sete Rios bus terminal (rede-expressos.pt)

Alternatively the ‘Rapida Azul’ of the Rodotejo bus company runs from Lisbon’s Campo Grande bus station (rodoviariadooeste.pt/)

In both cases ticket costs around 5 to 10 euros.

You can buy a ticket to Lourinhã and we will pick you up for free.

TRANSFER FROM/TO LISBON AIRPORT

Book a transport shuttle with us directly from the Lisbon airport to the surf house for 80 € / one way. There are Uber/ Bolt options for around 45-50 €. 

When the group is together we’ll create a Whatsapp group so that those who want can arrive together and share transport

TRAVELLING TO PORTUGAL

Please find your own way to arrive to Portugal (Lisbon or Porto) at your own cost on October 10, and back home October 16. If you want you can of course arrive earlier/ leave later, but the Nordic Surfsisters camp is organized on 10-16 October.
